According to Mr Dokubo Asari, he noted that a victory for Peter Obi in the Presidential election is highly unlikely, adding that Peter Obi does not have the characteristics of an Igbo capable and competent enough to be the next President of Nigeria.
Speaking further, Mr Dokubo Asari said that he believes it was highly unlikely that anyone from the Igbo ethnic group could become the next President of Nigeria, adding that relying on Igbos votes alone would not ensure the presidency of the former governor of Anambra State, Peter Gregory Obi or any other person from the Igbo region. In addition to his statement, Dokubo suggested that during the administration of the former governor of Lagos State and Presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu, a strong and reliable infrastructure should be built to provide housing and assistance to the South Easterners.
