Apampa had said, “That is not correct. I have said it times and without number that such an attitude is anti-party; i have never done so. And i have told them if anybody has a proof or evidence, let them come forward and tell the whole world.”
Apampa, who spoke during an interview on Arise Television, insisted that he has never worked against the LP. According to him, such an act would be anti-party. He maintained that he contributed to the building of the LP, hence, he could not bring the party down. The faction of the suspended National Chairman, Julius Abure, had earlier raised an alarm that Apampa attempted to withdraw Peter Obi’s petition from the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal. The faction insisted that Apampa and members of his camp have been paid by the ruling party to work against the LP.
But Apampa insisted that the allegations are false. He challenged anyone with evidence to make it public.
